Position: Diesel Mechanic

We are looking to expand our team at our Sacramento shop with a Diesel Mechanic.

About us:
Diesel Emissions Service is a family-owned company that currently has 6 locations on the west coast and is growing. We specialize in DPF installation and maintenance. We offer a wide range of in-house training, varying from the Retrofit Filter Systems to Engine and Chassis Repairs. We are a fast paced company constantly looking for growth in all avenues of this industry.

Position/Responsibilities:

  • Available opening for full-time Diesel Mechanic specializing in Aftertreatment Systems
  • This is a great position to grow within our company and learn more about the industry
  • Maintain a safe and clean workplace according to our SOP
  • California 90-day BIT and Federal USDOT inspections
  • Communicate with customers on Driver Vehicle Inspection Records (DVIR)
  • Maintenance for cab and chassis’
  • Preventative Maintenance in our shop and at customers facilities
  • Conducting fuel and electrical Diagnostics on both Engine and DPF Systems

Requirements:

  • Must possess personal tools
  • Valid Class C driver’s license (Class A preferred)
  • Experience in a similar field as a mechanic/technician for at least 3 years
  • Trade school or mechanical courses are a plus
  • Motivated with the desire to learn

Position: Driver / Warehouse Help

We are looking to expand our team at our Sacramento shop with a parts driver to assist in the warehouse.

Position/Responsibilities:

  • Delivery and Pickup various parts and DPF’s when needed
  • Organize stops on driving route for maximum efficiency
  • Assist in inventory maintenance
  • Maintain warehouse organization
  • Support Shop Manager in any other required tasks

 

Requirements:

  • Valid Class C driver’s license
  • Must be able to life 50 lbs
  • Similar experience for at least 2 years
  • High School Diploma

Position: Service Technician

We are looking to expand our team at our San Leandro shop with a Truck Technician.

About us:

Diesel Emissions Service is a family owned company and we are looking to add to our team! DES is operated out of Redding, California, with 5 other locations throughout the West Coast and growing rapidly. We specialize in retrofitting heavy duty diesel vehicles with Diesel Particulate Filter Systems, including a wide range of services from engine to Emission Control Devices.

Position/Responsibilities:

  • Pay Rate = $17-$25 DOE
  • Available opening for full-time Diesel Technician specializing in Aftertreatment Systems
  • This is a great position to grow within our company and learn more about the industry
  • Maintain a safe and clean workplace according to our SOP

Position: Territory Sales Rep

We are looking to expand our team at our San Leandro shop with a Sales Representative to maintain and grow relationships for DPF Service/Repair, Engine Service/Repair and our Redline Emissions Products.

DES is operated out of Redding, California, with 5 other locations throughout the West Coast and growing rapidly. We specialize in retrofitting heavy duty diesel vehicles with Diesel Particulate Filter Systems, including a wide range of services from engine to Emission Control Devices.

Position/Responsibilities:

  • Looking for a representative to create awareness and demand for our company products and services.
  • Build and maintain our strong relationships with clients in a specific territory
  • Perform administrative functions critical to the sales
  • Maintain internal communications to ensure a smooth and efficient sales process
  • Negotiating details of contracts with potential customers
  • Consulting with customers after sales and contracts to provide ongoing support
  • Record and track all quote documentation with accurate pricing and any related correspondence between customers

 

Requirements:

  • Must be self-motivated and goal-oriented with a successful history
  • Knowledge of various relationships sales techniques
  • Demonstrates an ability to build and maintain relationships
  • Flexible, creative and ability to work in a non-structured environment
  • Excellent customer relationship skills
  • Excellent oral/written communication skills, including well-developed presentation skills
  • Associate’s Degree preferred. Required knowledge of industry
  • Ability to creating and delivering presentations tailored to the clients’ audience and needs.
  • Standard computer and mobile device skills
  • Experience or knowledge or Insightly, Salesforce or comparable CRM a desire
  • Work diligently to set monthly and yearly sales goals and implement strategies to achieve those goals
  • Schedule meetings with prospective and existing clients.
  • Self-generate leads through referrals, networking, cold calling or other viable means whenever possible.
  • Working closely with our high performing sales team.
  • Most Importantly: a clean DMV record is required and knowledge of the area, as there will be driving.
